I don’t think most people realize that loss of control when they call…because they’re calling for help, but they don’t realize what they’re losing in that call for help.

Yeah, I mean, the legitimate call for help is understood. But I believe there are a lot of times the call is to make the other person… it’s vindictive. You’re making me so upset that I’m going to call a police and let you see what you’ve done and how you’ve escalated it. Either way. And then when the police come and the person is getting arrested and taken away, like, oh, no, no. That’s not what I wanted to happen. I just wanted them to feel the pain that I feel because of what they said to me, or what they did.
So, using the police department as a way to exact some type of revenge or to make that person suffer is not the proper use of 911.
