…but simply having a medical error, while that is horrible and horrific for a family, may not lead to a medical malpractice case because oftentimes, you will have an error that does not cause any injury or permanent damages.


So, for purposes of a medical malpractice case, you do need, aside from that departure from the standard of care, you need there to be some form of a permanent injury that was caused by the medical malpractice.
