My question is, how many cases, percentage-wise, I’m not going to hold you to it, but just a rough estimate, go to trial? I would assume most settle ahead of time, am I correct?
Steven Gacovino – Social Media Youth Harm Mass Tort Attorney – Suffolk County, NY
Your assumption is correct. Most of the time, the cases do settle, but you always have to be prepared for it not to settle. It takes two parties, of course, to consent to that settlement.
We have to agree to it, our client has to agree to it, the defendant attorney or the insurance company or the defendant, they have to agree to it as well.
I would say 90% of the time, or even in excess of 90% of the time, our case is resolved before it will ir a juicio.
