So let’s get right into it.
The question that someone will probably ask themselves at some point in their life is:
Do I need estate planning?
Why do I need estate planning?
So let’s start out with the answer to that question.
Andrew Dósa – Estate Planning Attorney – Tacoma WA and Oakland, CA
Well, the easy answer, Ray, is that when we live our lives, we’re trying to make choices that give us the best options with our opportunities at every step.
A significant question about estate planning is partially about what I want to do with the things I have now, but primarily what am I going to do for those that I love after I’m gone, or if I’m not able to perform or function as I normally have.
So, estate planning gives you a chance to take what you have and figure out who you want to bless, and to follow through and take care of things.
You get to make the choices; no one else makes the choices for you.
